A substitute teacher in Cleveland, Ohio has resigned during investigation of allegations of sexual misconduct.

A substitute teacher at the Euclid High School near Cleveland, Ohio has resigned as authorities investigate some serious allegations of sexual misconduct.

The teacher stepped down before the district learned of these allegations.

School spokesman, Dominick Ferlito, said in a statement, “The nature of these allegations is extremely concerning, and we are actively cooperating with the Euclid Police Department.”

The district would not provide more information at this time, citing student privacy rights and the investigation.

Ferlito, the school spokesman said they are, “remaining committed to a thorough investigation of the situation, prioritizing the well-being and confidentiality of the students and their families.”
