Pennsylvania's Attorney General's Office recently charged the former Delaware County Emergency Management Director with indecent assault, simple assault, and harassment.

Tim Boyce was fired amid allegations of sexual assault and harassment after an incident in January. According to prosecutors, Boyce allegedly “called an employee into his office, kissed her, and grabbed her backside as she left.”

The survivor has chosen to remain anonymous. Mark Schwartz, her lawyer, stated that his client quit her job the day after the incident occurred. She messaged Boyce and expressed extreme discomfort after their interaction in the office. Tim Boyce did not deny the woman’s claims during their brief text exchange.

Boyce was originally placed on administrative leave on April 25 after complaints from staff. He was accused of ageism, gender discrimination and sexual harassment by multiple female employees. The allegations prompted an investigation from the county’s HR department and local authorities.

"This type of conduct is a threat to the workplace, where people are supposed to feel safe, and my office views these allegations seriously," Attorney General Henry said. "Title, power, or status do not give anyone the right to harass and assault employees."

Boyce was arraigned, and his bail was set at $50,000.
